The System
ClixSense is a medium for advertisers and consumers to connect. Advertisers pay a fee to ClixSense to have their advertisements featured, and consumers earn money by viewing the ads; advertisers gain exposure, consumers earn money and ClixSense generates revenue. Consumers earn money for every 30 seconds of ads viewed. ClixSense monitors each consumer account to ensure that each ad is being view by a human and not an automated "bot." Once registered, ClixSense allows you to browse through ads and start making money. On the "Browse Ads" page, ClixSense organizes a list of available ads along with how much you will earn by viewing each ad. I've been a member of Clixsense for years and have earned roughly $56 using the site. If I were more consistent I could easily double this in a year, but this type of site is not meant to make you rich or pad your pockets.
I decided to research this a little more since I haven't been using it daily for sometime. When the post was originally written, the information was accurate based on minimum usage. I tested the checklist and today alone earned $0.20 for completing the simple checklist items I outlined above. If we redo the math at an $8.00 payout for free members, it will take only 40 days (less than 2 months!) to achieve this goal. That's quite a difference from the projected minimum clicks at 266 days.
One thing to remember is you also can make money from referrals and they recently updated the commission amounts to a more attractive package.
